Absolwent Wydziału Prawa i Administracji Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego. Praca magisterska w Katedrze Prawa Finansowego. Radca prawny.

Kolejno pracował: w latach 1998-2002 prawnik w TUiR Partner S.A. i Gardia Life S.A. z grupy kapitałowej SEB, w latach 2002-2007 w Polskim Górnictwie Naftowym i Gazownictwie S.A., w którym zajmował między innymi stanowiska dyrektora zarządzającego ds. obsługi prawnej oraz dyrektora zarządzającego ds. negocjacji – na tym stanowisku nadzorował i prowadził kluczowe negocjacje istotnych kontraktów i przedsięwzięć. W latach 2007-2008 wiceprezes zarządu w BOT Górnictwo i Energetyka S.A., gdzie odpowiadał między innymi za strategię i integrację Grupy Kapitałowej BOT, zarządzanie Grupą Kapitałową BOT. W latach 2008-2009 prezes zarządu w Wojskowym TBS „KWATERA” sp. z o.o. W latach 2009-2013 wiceprezes zarządu, a następnie doradca prezesa zarządu, w Banku Gospodarstwa Krajowego. W latach 2013-2015 wiceprezes zarządu wykonujący obowiązki prezesa zarządu i wiceprezes zarządu ds. handlowych w Polskim Górnictwie Naftowym i Gazownictwie S.A.
